The Ladies' Fellowship

Looking back over the last two months of 2001, it is good to see the Lord encouraging us as we met each Tuesday afternoon. It was interesting to learn of some of the aids that are available for those with poor eyesight or who are coping with blindness. Our visit from Eileen Shirley also included receiving gifts that she had made for us.

This year we again visited the Cedars Hotel, where we enjoyed our Christmas Dinner together. It was good to share this with the other older members of the church.

On the 19th of December we held our Carol service and had coffee and mince pies afterwards. Steve Ewing challenged us to think about the Lord in all that happens during our lives, and to be assured that He is always with us. This is something we all need to remember as we begin a new year.

Reminder: Saturday March the 9th, beginning 10.00am, is Ladies’ day with Rev Anne Davies as speaker, the theme will be “Following On.”
