The Ladies' Fellowship

After an autumn session when we were challenged and encouraged by a variety of speakers, December was a very busy time. Having agreed to host the Loughborough Federation Christmas Party we had over a hundred women from more than ten local Baptist Churches join us for the afternoon on Tuesday 3rd December. This was an enjoyable time and we were grateful for the help serving tea that was given to us by Carol Bates, Debbie Cochrane, Carol Murphy and Eve Phillips.

Apart from getting there, our Christmas Dinner at Quorn Grange required less effort on our part!! However it was action once again on 17th December when we held our traditional Carol Service. We were encouraged by the number of older folk from from the village who joined us on this occasion. The Rev. David Leese gave a clear gospel message and kept our interest by his use of a variety of conjuring tricks! Debbie came to help us once again, joined by Chris Vanlint and Carol Brown. Thank you ladies!

Now we look to 2003 and all that the Lord has to teach us as we listen to His message that is brought to us as we meet week by week.
