The Ladies’ Fellowship

Back in ‘the fold’ during the cold months of winter, hearts have been warmed through the Word of God, faithfully brought by our speakers. It has been a time to remember God’s goodness to us, a time to repent of our failures and to ask for forgiveness, a time to return to serve Him. (The wise never forget their three R’s).

The luncheon party provided by Gordon and Hettie Reynolds on the occasion of their 50th Wedding Anniversary proved to be a very enjoyable gathering. Hilary made a special cake and presented them with a much admired patio pot arrangement. And there were favourite hymns, accompanied by Eric on the piano to finish. Many thanks to all who helped on the day, especially Ryan, Angela, Peter and Liz, for waiting at table.

The Revd Patricia Grudging gave the address at the Women’s World Day of Prayer held at St Bartholomew’s Church on Friday 1st March. The service was prepared by the Christian Women of Romania with the theme, “Challenged to reconcile” and it was well attended.

We thank you for your prayers and help given over this period.
