The Wonder of Doing God's Will

Heavenly wisdom is the precious gift of God. Being redeemed is a wonderful fact - all sin past, present and future FORGIVEN - wonderful. The wonder is, there's more to it.

God, in all wisdom and insight, made known to us "the mystery of His will". Truth is, the wisdom of the humble believer surpasses the most educated unbeliever. The unbeliever, ignoring God's wisdom, struggles but is ever in the dark.

When God saved us, He not only forgave all our sins (remembering them no more) but He gave us spiritual wisdom and understanding. These are the two blessings which are the foundations of godly living. You have, by reason of the new birth, the ability to understand God's will and to live it out in your life.

While the unbeliever struggles with the mystery of life, the 'what', 'when' and 'where' of it all, the believer knows the most wonderful secret of all - God created the universe and that same God controls the course of history. The world is HIS and HE made it! That same God has redeemed you and with that redemption gives you all you need to know and follow in His way - it's wonderful. The unbeliever treats God's word with contempt (1 Corinthians 2:14) but the born-again Christian has the mind of Christ! (1 Corinthians 2:16) - that's wonderful too!

The blessed Spirit of God dwelling in you gives you the desire to know and to do His will. His word reveals it. His Spirit explains it. That's what Jesus told His apostles during His last evening with them before Calvary.

You must have read what David said - "I love Your law - it's my meditation all day! Your commandments make me wiser than my enemies - I have more insight than all my teachers" then he says "I have refrained my feet from every evil way that I may keep Your word".

To the obedient Christian, the way becomes clear as we go step by step on the path with Him. Enjoy the wonder of doing His will - it's gloriously possible.
