The Ladies' Fellowship

Our speakers this year have been varied and interesting. They include Don Boyes from Open Doors, Peter Gamble showing us slides of wild flowers growing in this area, and Steve Cooper, who spoke of various storms in the Bible and how they relate to life today.

In February we had a lunch at which we helped Eric celebrate his 90th year. We give grateful thanks to the young people who gave up a day of their half-term holiday to serve the meal and clean up on that occasion.

This Lent, Howard is spending extra time with us, speaking about the “Knowing and Growing” course and helping us to strengthen our Lent resolutions.

We took part in the service for the celebration of the Women’s World Day of Prayer, which this year was at St Barts and was prepared by the Christian women of Panama.

We now look forward to Easter and the start of our spring meetings.
