The Ladies' Fellowship

The start of a new year and already our hearts have been warmed by the Word of God through our speakers. We pray that God will richly bless them. We are so thankful for their willingness to come and fellowship with us.

Our AGM, held on the 1st February, showed steady support for those in all areas of Christian work and the church here in Quorn.

A special treat was the fellowship lunch held in the School Room. Many thanks to all who helped to make it so enjoyable, especially the lovely young ladies who served at table (and did the washing up afterwards!)

Despite a very cold day we had a good attendance at the Women’s World Day of Prayer, and were warmly welcomed by the ladies of Quorn United Church. The Christian women of Poland chose the theme for 2005 “Let our light shine” which gave us all much thought as we made our way home.

We remember in our prayers Jan and Joyce Page, also ‘Dorrie’ Harrison in their recent bereavement sadness.

We look forward to the federation rally to be held at QBC on the 16th March - the invitations have gone out.
