Our Resources

In Paul's supreme letter to the Ephesian church, he tells a wonderful truth - as a Christian, you possess every spiritual resource you need as you go on in your life. You are not bought into the Kingdom of God and then left to your own devices. Everything you need is yours so that you may know God and be a blessing to others.

The words of the father in the story of the Prodigal Son which he speaks to his other son are often overlooked. He said "Son, you are ever with me and all that I have is yours!".

All that is HIS is yours! That's wonderful too!

Many Christians alas live like spiritual paupers even though they are children of the King. God's word tells us, ‘we are complete in Jesus.’

Peter tells us in his second epistle 'God's power has granted us everything pertaining to life and godliness'. Nothing is in short supply and it's yours in Him. In Our Lord Jesus you have a full supply of PEACE, LOVE, GRACE, WISDOM, JOY VICTORY, GUIDANCE, MERCY. The apostle says "All things are yours!".

You see, being a Christian is not a belief system; it is a vital life that is joined to Jesus who lives in you by His Spirit. You are alive in Him. You are a recipient of divine grace. All that is His is yours!

All blessings are yours because you are in Him; that's amazing and wonderful. Do you need love? Very well, ‘it is poured out in your heart through the Holy Spirit who is given to us' - not will be but is!

This is true of peace, of joy, of strength. Of course, Paul knew this and he said "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me".

Here is a wonderful secret. Apply what you know and more will follow as you relate your deeds and words to what you know of God's will. The rest will follow as you walk in obedience.

You will know the wonder of drawing daily from the vast resources which are yours in Jesus.
