The Ladies’ Fellowship

We give thanks to God that our meetings continue to be well attended. We have had a variety of speakers to bring us God’s word. Some of them old friends.

One of the highlights was the Ladies Federation Rally which we hosted. The speaker was Doreen Simpson and over 80 people attended. We extend a big thankyou to all who helped with the refreshments at this meeting.

Doreen Simpson was also our speaker at Ladies Sunday, when the subject was God’s family. She gave us a very challenging message on unity amongst the family of God.

The service was led by Alison Ketton and the young people. Doreen’s evening subject was “Joy” and we were pleased to have Andrea Roper play the organ for us.

Andrea also regularly plays for our Tuesday meetings. Sue Oldfield is not well enough to play for us at the moment, and our thoughts and prayers are with her that she will see an improvement in her health.

In March we had a visit from Howard and Hilary, and in May Hilary came to speak to us.

We also pray for Hetty who has not been well, and for her husband Gordon who is receiving Hospital treatment.

We now look forward to our summer meetings and what they may have in store for us.
