The Phillips-Whites
Friday 14th June saw a nervous Mark Phillips waiting with his best man Adam Slade in front of a full church, for his bride, Sarah White to arrive. At 4.00pm she arrived, wearing an ivory lace and satin dress, on the arm of her proud father, and attended by the groom’s sister, Suzzane Drummond, who wore Rose Pink. Both ladies carried tear-drop bouquets to match their outfits.
Following a marriage service conducted by Howard in his usual lively and relevant way, all processed out of the front of the church, where ten volunteers, past and present, of Sarah’s Quorn cub pack, provided a guard of honour.
Photos were taken at both QBC and the Quorn Country Hotel before guests passed the recieving line into the reception room for a lovely wedding ‘breakfast’. This was followed by speeches by the bride’s father, Alwyn White, the groom, Mark Phillips-White, the bride, Sarah Phillips-White, the best man, Adam Slade, and the bride’s brother-in law, David Scinto.
The following day, an evening reception was held at Rawlins, with a buffet supper, and dancing to a seven piece band, Revival. Both days were thoroughly enjoyable.
