First Steps

We have made a good start to the new term at First Steps with many new faces and a lot of new babies who have arrived over the summer holidays. We look forward to getting to know them all and to watching these little ones grow. We are as busy as ever and would always welcome some extra helpers.

The themes for our craft for this half term are taken from the words of the children’s chorus ‘Who’s the King of the Jungle?’, so look out for pictures of jungle animals, sea creatures, the universe and ‘me’ on the First Steps notice board by the sink in the school room. Tuesday 21st September was very busy with a visit from the photographer.

We plan to collect filled shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child again and hope to beat the 100 boxes that we sent last year. We are also producing our impromptu Nativity Plays on Tuesday 7 December and Friday 10 December so please put these dates in your diaries now and come along and support us if you can.
