Ladies' Fellowship

September and October have seen our ladies' Fellowship Meetings restart and we have had many reassurances of god's love for us. All of us have much to learn together from God's Word.

On two occasions we have been able to purchase Christmas presents. First we had a visit from Ruth Boyes. After learning about the needs in Bulgaria we were able to buy some of the things produced by Bulgarians. A visit by Jill Widowson, from the Good News centre gave us the opportunity to obtain Christmas cards and Christian books and calendars.

Our final outing for this year was on October 16th. We had a pleasant drive through the country lanes as we made our way to Woodlands Garden Centre where we had lunch. In the afternoon we went to Whitemoors Antiques and crafts centre. After a welcome cup of tea and home-made cakes we returned to Quorn having enjoyed our day out. Please book Saturday 9th March 2002, as our next Ladies' Day. It will be with the Rev Anne Davies and the theme will be "Following On".
