The Ladies' Fellowship

Since September the Ladies’ Fellowship has continued meeting each Tuesday afternoon. We have been pleased to welcome one or two new members in this time. Many of our speakers have been friends who have been before, and it was good to renew fellowship with Eva de Filippis when she joined us. In spite of being close to him it was difficult to see how David Leese (Methodist Minister and Illusionist) achieved his sleight of hand when telling us about treasures and our riches in Christ.

Unfortunately Howard was unable to join us on one occasion, but this gave us the opportunity to watch two videos. One was about the Shoe box ministry by Samaritans Purse, and the other showed how money sent to Baptist Home Mission was used to spread the Kingdom of God through churches that use the fund. The ladies’ Fellowship support both of these ‘causes’.

Now we look to planning out Christmas activities to bring this term to an end by remembering the birth of the Lord Jesus.
